I once had a reading in Sedona that acknowledged my close connection to the world's waters. The reader asked what had happened to me in Massachusetts, while we were discussing the soon to come water healing journey. For a second I was confounded and then I excitedly remembered my experience on a whale watching boat off the coast of Boston several years before. I had stood on a narrow deck that extended like a point in front of the rapidly moving boat. I became completely immersed in my experience of oneness with the sea. I connected with whale energy for the first time, and the day was overwhelmingly lovely. My heart opened in a new way.
I was in love with life and the person I was with and I had visions of the scenes of new love from the movie Titanic; of flying above the ocean with my heart open and dolphins and whales all around me. I had never shared any of this with the reader, in fact it hadn't been in my thoughts for a year or so, yet she told me that whatever my experience had been in Massachusetts, it forever connected my heart with the oceans of the world. As the dolphins in Hawaii spoke to us, I felt my connection to the water, and her life forms, deepen even more.

DAN AND POD, HAWAII
We knew it was time to return to the boat after our swim of amazingly close encounters with the dolphin pod, so Dan and I both began our energetic good-byes and thank you’s to the dolphins. We were about eight feet apart in the water reflecting on the love and gratitude that we felt for the dolphins and our time with them. Life felt beautiful, and we held great appreciation for all our blessings. We both were called to open our hearts in that moment.
Just then, a lone dolphin separated herself from the pod and swam toward us purposefully. She came directly in between us, paused for a breath, looked us both in our eyes and reflected love and appreciation back to us. It's impossible to fully describe in words how it felt. What I can say is that it changed me forever. I had never known such joy. My connection and bond to all life on the planet grew immensely.
