Light Wave and Light Dancer were photographed as I leaned over the side of a moving catamaran off the coast of Kauai. The dolphins came to the front of our craft and literally told me to get my camera ready. When the photos were developed I was stunned by their clarity and color. Where are the waves and ripples from the movement of the boat in the water? What messages are in the plays of light and color?

The images have in no way been altered, and "Light Wave" and "Light Dancer" appear suspended in all the elements as they carry messages of Light and Spirit and Hope to all people. They are shared with you here and are also available as high-quality prints through the Dolphin Lotus Designs link of this site. The dolphins’ clear message to me was to prepare the images and make them available to others...enjoy them for your personal use, please...for commercial use, please contact us.
On another trip to Hawaii, two photos appeared that also held messages from Spirit. Dan, dolphins, and a large, cell-like orb are captured in one of them. The photo is literally awesome and graces the top of page one of Dolphins.
The other orb photo, below, shows two dolphins and an orb so bright that the dolphins are illuminated by it. Looking closely, there is something apparent on the dolphin’s fin. It is actually a leaf that we placed in the water that day as the dolphins came to play! They often push them with their noses and fins, and this friend wanted us to feel our connection to it, and the orb.
The best way that I have found to describe the energy of orbs is that they are forms of consciousness, often our own from the ‘future’, appearing to help us ascend now. Underwater orb photos are quite rare, though many night photos taken digitally display them. These orb photos were taken with two different disposable, underwater 35mm cameras.
DOLPHINS, ORB, AND LEAF
I have also met a few bottlenose dolphins during two captive dolphin program experiences. After swimming with them in the wild it was very difficult for me to see dolphins housed in close confinement performing for people. They definitely appeared to be suffering stress. I do recognize that at the highest level these sweet creatures have volunteered to be in the captive programs, programs that are the only way available for most people to connect with them.
People young and old, most wide-eyed and some a little nervous, donned the required life jackets and entered the dolphin enclosure. As the group stood in the waste deep water, each person had their few moments touching, and even riding, a dolphin. People's hearts opened wide and their smiles were genuinely filled with great joy as lifelong dreams were fulfilled. The little kids came out to play, even in the grown-ups. Though many companies greatly profit from the dolphins, the creatures do spend many hours a day in the presence of joy, happiness and love. We thank them for their sacrifice and service.
Dolphins, turtles, fish, whales, and all the ocean's beings share the open waters with us, and each other. All sea creatures, whether finned, scaled or shelled, serve to open us to new understandings of the web of life, and our place within it.
