About Adele Sands

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Reiki Master Teacher, a Medical Assistant, and have a Psychology Degree.  I practice holistic, intuitive massage and facilitate healing through Spirit Horse Experience Sessions in beautiful Sedona, AZ. I would call it my “dream job” (where JOB stands for: Joy Of Being). I have been in Sedona since 2001, a Maryland transplant.

I had horses for 14 years back in MD, and got my first one at the age of 29.  It was my childhood Dream come true.  My 2 daughters and I showed locally, and at one point I had 6 horses in my care.  With a divorce came the decision to let go of my horses, and a year or so after, a move to Sedona called.  In 2007, in honor of my 50th birthday, I was guided to bring horses back into my life again.  And the timing is perfect, as Natural Horsemanship has taken the equestrian world by storm.  Now horses are trained and gentled, not “broken”.  And learning Horse Whispering has taken my understanding of the language of the horse to a new level. 

It has been an integral part of my personal healing process, all that has occurred on and around horses for me.  They have taught me how to release fears and blocks, and how to have the greatest, and most humble joy and gratitude for my life.  They have taught me patience, in a profound and gentle way.  They have taught me trust, both in myself, and the Universe.  Even my connection with them on the ground fills me with wonder and joy.  Hearing them munch their hay is music to my ears.  Giving them a big hug, or a deep scratch, and having it openly received, can bring tears to my eyes.  Their trust in me is a magnificent gift that I feel so blessed to share with others. 

The fulfillment of the Dream of my inner child, to have her own special horse, now may bring healing and joy to others.
